Focusing on native plants and conservation in North Idaho

Arboretum Committee

The Arboretum Committee consists of all the folks who volunteer in the arboretum.  They spend 2 or 3 hours working in their assigned area one morning a week, from May until the first part of October.  It is a good way to learn about native plants and their different habitats.  In February, we meet at the Museum to discuss the projects for the up coming season.  There are several areas that need to be developed.  We are always looking for new ideas and more help.  If you are interested in working at the arboretum on a regular basis or just to do a single project, email Sue at
