Programs
Even before the Arboretum was created, the newly established Kinnikinnick Native Plant Society offered monthly programs on topics related to native plants and their habitats in North Idaho. The very first program was presented in June 1997 by the late Valle Novak. Since then, we have presented more than 200 programs.
We currently offer nine programs each year, one a month excluding July, August and December. Most are available in a “hybrid” format for both in-person and remote audiences through Zoom. KNPS programs take place on the third Saturday of the month at the East Bonner County Library in Sandpoint. They are always free and open to the public. Since September 2020, presentations have been recorded and are posted on the Kinnikinnick Native Plant Society YouTube channel.
For information on upcoming programs, check our Events Page.
